The Louis Philippe Cedar Chest is made from rich cherry veneers in "Marquis Cherry" finish with an Antique Brass crest shaped faux lock. It includes a self-rising tray and has black acid free velvet lining. Construction includes 3 decorative hinges, 2 spring loaded stay hinges, and Aluminum sealing strip. The back panel is fully finished and features strong interlocking corner joints for interior construction. The cedar interior is made from Eastern Red Cedar and is sealed with a protective finish to prevent the cedar oil from transferring to stored items, but allows the cedar aroma through. There are 2 high quality roller-catches to eliminate the risk of accidental locking and lost keys while still ensuring that the cedar aroma stays in. |
