You can see the European influence in the lines of the Madeline bed. It has a simple grill design of straight spindles that attach, by castings to a rail which curves and slopes, almost like two outstretched wings. A gracefully curving brass top rail attaches at the posts with brass finials. In the center rests a large medallion-shaped casting, giving the bed a regal Continental look. The Madeline comes in a shiny black finishes. The bed has a very romantic feel about it and would be perfect for a little girl or anyone who has Old World tastes. |
